More sustainable and socially responsible.
All the fabrics we use are either recycled or GOTS certified. Which means they are a much more sustainable option to choose than many other fabrics out there. We make a lot of our products in our workshop ourselves. This is because we don't want to make use of cheap labour abroad, which often relies on exploitation of workers.
The only exception is the t-shirts we offer right now. But those too are made of organic cotton.
We believe in slow fashion. We strive to produce items that will last for several years, and are less harmful to the environment and the people working to make them.
You want to try them on before buying?
Our address is not a visiting address, as we do not have a store with regular business hours. But occasionally we'll make an exception if you make an appointment through email. You can make an appointment if you want to try them on. Or if you need a custom binder and don't want to do it through the method mentioned above, or have very specific requests due to abnormalities that make it so, a regular binder doesn't fit you or causes issues.
Please include your wishes in your email, so we can properly prepare for your appointment. And give you an indication of how long the appointment is going to take and what the custom binder will cost.
Custom binders
Because we make all the binders ourselves, we are able to offer the option of a customized binder! Sent an email to info@ursym.com with what you'd like, and we'll tell you if that's possible. (This option may not be available at all times, we may be working on other projects.) A few examples:
We can adjust the pattern for you if you like our binders but would like to make some adjustments.
Or you ordered one of our binders, and it doesn't fit right. And now you would like a custom-made binder that does. In which case, we recommend you take a few pictures that show the problem areas. Before you return the one you ordered. And email us, we'll let you know how we can adjust the binder to your liking. The price depends on how much time is going into the adjustments, and we'll tell you that as well.
If you have trouble finding your size, but don't want a custom-made one, you can contact us trough here. We would very much like to add the missing sizes to our collection.
We can do different colours and patterns. Just ask, and we'll tell you if we can do it.
We can embroider something on the front panel. We can't do brand logo's or art that isn't yours or ours because it's not fair to profit of someone else's work. If you have an idea, sent us a description or a sketch and we'll make you a design.
Please be aware of the fact that custom orders can't be returned, it is made for you and nobody else, so we can't accept the return.
Bring us your old clothes to be recycled!
If you bring us old clothes, we can try to turn them into something new. That way, we can make clothes without introducing any new materials into the process. And make a completely recycled item. We can do this as a custom order for you, or simply put the item up for sale on the website. These items are always unique because the materials are different every time!
Please make sure the old clothes are clean, we can't accept underpants or socks for hygiene reasons. Email us for more information.
